Those who have thick lips can have new thin lips by a simple operation under local anesthesia without visible scar. After surgery you can eat immediately.
Lip Augmentation
Lip Augmentation creates fuller, plumper and reduces fine wrinkels around the mouth, lip(s) may be injected with collagen or with fat tranfered from another site in the patient body. Both collagen and fat are absorbed and repeat treatment.
These treatments are necessary to maintain result. However long lastin injectable implant ,such as Aquamid is a good candidate and safty with no side-effect. It can maintained the result more than 10 years apporximately
| Many of us want fuller, larger lips - or perhaps a smaller area between the base of the nose and upper lip (lip lift).
As we age our lips seem as though they "deflate" or even thin out. The upper lip is more prone to the signs of aging, such as "dropping" or thinning so some patients may simply need upper lip rejuvenation.
Perhaps with fat grafting, implants, a lip lift or even resurfacing of the skin above the lip. There are many options for lip augmentation from Gore-Tex or Softform lip implants to injectable beads of poly(methyl methacrylate) or PMMA or even injectable products such as hyaluronic acid or collagen.
Some are temporary and others are permanent - some are even semi-permanent.
Please research each available product or technique fully before committing to one. You will find that there are always pros and cons for each but by researching you can make an informed decision. |

Not all surgeons will offer every product, nor will they agree which product is best for each patient. You will more than likely hear different opinions from each surgeon you consult with and this is very understandable and normal - although if you research and know what to expect or the particulars about a product, this will help you in your decision. Especially if you find that temporary injectables are being promoted as the best, when you in fact want permanency. Temporary injectables certainly can give a wonderfully, plump result but can be expensive for many patients. Although they are ideal for those who just aren't sure if they want permanently larger lips. Please know that there is no ideal product or technique at this time but there are preferable procedures to enhance the lips.
Due to the popularity and diversity of this procedure we recommend visiting the below website for more information and to take part in an entire discussion community devoted to just Lip Augmentation and Lip Beautification.
